DIFFERENTIATED CONTENT
The Hortifruti Brasil team conducts market studies that identify problems and opportunities, propose solutions that benefit not only the production of fruits and vegetables, but also the production chains as a whole, including the consumer.
Their difference lies in daily contact between Hortifruti Brasil researchers with growers, intermediaries, wholesalers, specialized technicians in the production of fruits and vegetables and with professionals of the industry and processors, as well as representatives of professional associations and the government. This network of collaborators is the basis for the preparation of the contents presented by Hortifruti Brasil.
Marketing prices and production costs are continuously collected through this network, which also participates in discussions about trends and structural aspects of the Brazilian horticulture. Periodic contact with these agents allows our researchers to guide their research within the university, based on the actual needs of the sector.
