Piracicaba, 10th - The planting of mango in the Brazilian semiarid region is expected to increase again in 2020, due to good results in 2019. In São Paulo state, planted area may be reduced, but it will be confirmed after the end of 2019/20 season, in mid-March.
As for the offer, it can increase in 2020, due to the start of production in recent planted areas. Prices, however, will depend on internal and external demands.
If sales and offer grow in the same pace, the market may be balanced again.
