Piracicaba, 26th – In 2021, the mango planted area shall continue increasing in Vale do São Francisco (with enlargement and opening of the public perimeter of irrigation and good exports encouraging planting). In the semiarid region, preparations for first semester production have already started, with orchards filled with blossoms and fruit in development.
For the exports, the forecast continues to be optimistic, since international demand is still growing. At the same time, recent increase in area may result in bigger supply this year, with more areas starting to harvest.
