Papaya formosa price increased considerably from 25th to 29th July. The main reason is a reduction on harvest pace this period. Thus, formosa was sold by R$ 0,92/kg in south of Bahia state, a value 130% superior from a week before. The forecast for two or three months is that supply will continue short because cold and rain are reducing fruit maturation. So, prices may continue to growth.
