Piracicaba, 07th – At Brazilian wholesales, sales of grapes are still slow. Prices are dropping, though not sharply, due to low supply in producer regions. Grape growers, who don’t sell only to wholesales, had better sales; demand, mainly in the countryside of São Paulo state, where the lockdown has been more flexible, is better than in the capital city.
In Louveira/Indaiatuba (São Paulo state) and in Marialva (Paraná state), the season has already started, so supply is not high. In São Miguel Arcanjo (São Paulo state), the harvest is near to end, and in Vale do São Francisco (Pernambuco and Bahia state), rains in the past months reduced supply.
