Piracicaba, 29 - Prices of red globe table grape may increase in October due to a reduction of supply in São Francisco Valley (Pernambuco and Bahia states). Most producers harvested this variety between July and September, when values went down in domestic market. On the other hand, in the same period, exports to Argentina increased. Between July and August/17 (latest official data available), Argentina bought 797 tones of Brazilian fresh grapes, volume 426% higher than in the same months of 2016, according to Secex data. It is important to highlight that timetable exports of red globe initiates before seedless varieties to Europe.
