Piracicaba, 27 – Growers are satisfied with grapes quality in Campinas region (São Paulo state). Thus, expectations for production are good, even with rain during last week (17th to 20th April) in some cities. According to Hortifruti/Cepea collaborators, problems caused by rain are small, with no impact in grapes’ prices. In general, besides the absence of negative impact of rain in prices, they are smaller than in the same month in 2016. Last week, niagara variety was sold by BRL 3.16/kg, an increase of 3.9% over the previous week.
