Havaí prices increased 17% at Ceagesp between August 29th and September 2nd, due to low supply of this variety in the farm. Demand is still low – the end of the month reduces sales. Besides that, cold weather impacts on fruit consumption. According to Somar Meteorologia, temperatures will be mild in the first September fortnight what can still impact in the demand. On the other hand, supply shall continue low, keeping papaya prices high.
