Piracicaba, 30th - The peak of harvest ended last month for mangoes in the São Francisco Valley. In this scenario, Palmer mango prices have been rising since early November. In the first two weeks of the month, the valuation accumulates 75% for this variety, achieving BRL 1.89/kg.
In addition to the reduction in supply in the São Francisco Valley, exports are increasing for the Palmer mango, as Spain’s season is over. So shipments to Europe are at a good pace. Moreover, the harvest in São Paulo regions are delayed, because of the impacts caused by frost on the season schedule.
