Piracicaba, 15 – In November, mango supply increased in Brazil, reducing prices in Vale do São Francisco (Pernambuco and Bahia states). For the main varieties (palmer and tommy), quotes were below production costs during the most part of the month.
For December, Hortifruti/Cepea collaborators believe in a reaction in prices because supply tends to reduce, mainly in tommy variety – for this one, harvest season is close to the end in Monte Alto/Taquaritinga (producer region in São Paulo state). Supply of this variety will also reduce in Vale do São Francisco and Livramento de Nossa Senhora (Bahia state).
