Mango kent season in São Francisco Valley started in September and intensified in October, according to Hortifruti/Cepea collaborators. Producers are concerned about kent coloring, that is out of international standards. Thus, the Brazilian sector is open for suggestions in the next three months, and is offering an award (five solar desalinators) for who provides an effective solution for the coloring problem.
