Blairo Maggi, minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA) announced last Wednesday (September 21st) an agreement to export apples and other goods to India, where he spent some time in early September improving relationship between the countries. The apple sector had been trying to consolidate this partnership for years. Now, with these final adjustments, confirmation occurred with Maggi declaration, who according to Hortifruti/Cepea collaborators, has been very solicitous to the sector from the beginning.
